The Pacific Northwest (Cascadia) is one of the most culturally rich regions in the world. We have a proud tradition of creative expression. We take inspiration from the diversity in our ecosystems, our cities, and our people. While others look to New York and Los Angeles for their standards of creativity, we have been able to maintain independence while looking into the future.
The Cascadian Independence Short Film Festival strives to maintain this tradition by highlighting the work of short film makers in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska.
The eclectic two day festival highlights all forms of short film making; drawing from all over the Cascadia with some national and international selections.
