I am a self-taught artist who is continually looking for the mysterious in everyday things for the inspiration of what I want to paint. Though rarely does a painting follow any specific set of ideas that I have set forth, it more commonly emerges from a failure to execute what I have set out to accomplish. Much like life itself, in the desperation of trying to save what I originally wanted to create, something new emerges, that in many ways, is more real.
