Renee Press
My artwork is fairly simple. I make it out of love for my fellow man, the earth, the ground, the rain, the sky. Like love, the objects of my work are always changing, along with the medium i use to express them. I like to draw, and take photographs, sometimes use watercolor, or anything that is around that makes color or lines. The imagery doesnt matter, so much as the sentiment. I like to think about how many life forms are floating around in the puget sound, just outside my door. So many swimming and bobbing, moving in directions we never thought possible. I like to know that they are there, even though i cant see them. They remind me of all that is alive, yet hidden. So unimaginably lovely, yet unsung. My work is a reminder of miracles. A moment of presence on paper.
